Morocco Beat Portugal to advance to Semifinals

Morocco showed a relentless game when they faced Portugal in a desperate match sealing a place in the Semis.

Despite playing counterattacking football for much of the game, they were happy to edge out Portugal 1-0 and advance to the semis after making history as the first African team to reach the World Cup semifinals.

Morocco will now face off with the winner of England v France in the Semis of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Yet again, the 38 year old forward has been benched at the World Cup for Portugal’s quarter final game against Morocco.

Argentina will Face Off with Croatia on the Semi Finals of the World Cup.

Croatia advanced to Semi-Finals at the World Cup after knocking out Brazil

Croatia proved to be the better side against Brazil after they knocked them out in penalties.

After a goalless 90 minutes, Neymar scored the opener for Brazil and most of the fans thought it was sealed. Croatia came back in the second half of extra time pushing the game to penalties.

Brazil however seemed unconfident in the penalties with two misses sealing the spot for Croatia in the Semi-Finals of the World Cup set for 13th December 2022.

The World Cup has set the stage for underrated teams with Germany, Spain and now Brazil getting knocked out after being poised as favorites.

The former Real Madrid number 10 went ahead to bash the pundits saying “The media is just trying to get clicks”
